'Japali Hanuman temple' is located on Tirumala hills at a distance of 5 kms from the main shrine of the Lord Sree Venkateswara swamy ( Balaji) temple. It is on the way to 'Papavinasanam', a beautiful sacred waterfall which is located around 2 miles from the main temple. This temple is situated amidst lush green forest. You have to go 20 min by road and 15 min by walk to reach this temple. We have to climb around 150 steps before reaching the temple. We can see Lord Ganesh formed inside a tree in front of the temple

Jabali (Japali) is the beautiful sacred place on Tirumala Hills, where Anjanadevi gave birth to Lord Hanuman in Tretyuga. Maharshi Jaabaali, a great saint and philosopher had performed penance at this holy place to have darshan of Lord Hanuman, that is why it is  known as "Jabali Hanuman Kshetram" or "Japali Hanuman Kshetram". It is said that the city of Jabalpur is named after him. It is a strong belief  that the pilgrims who take bath in Japali Teertham will be cleansed from all of their sins. There are has many such Teerthas in Tirumala. All the teerthas on Tirumala hills will finally flow into the Swami Pushkarini,  the famous ancient holy lake near Sree Varaha swamy the temple is said to have been brought here  from Vaikuntham. According to Puranas, there are  66 crore teerthas in Tirumala hills.

It is said that Lord Rama, Sita and Lakshmana have visited this place. In the temple premises there is a pond called 'Rama kund' which was the source of drinking water during their stay. But nobody knows from where the water is flowing to this pond

'Hanuman Jayanti' will be celebrated here. TTD made free bus transportation arrangements for the pilgrims on this day. Many pilgrims who visit Tirumala hills come here to worship Lord Hanuman and Ganesha and got relieved from all the graha doshas.
