'Mana'  is the last village in Indian territory adjoining to the China border, Tibet. It is 3 kms from Badrinath temple, Uttarakhand.

Saraswati River flowing with tremendous force

Saraswati river merges with Alakananda river near Mana village and merges with river 'Ganges' in Devprayag, Uttarakhand.

Basant Panchami is celebrated every year in mid january and february .  On that day Goddess Saraswati is worshipped

Bheem Pul: Mythologically it is said that Pandavas started their journey towards heaven (Swargaarohini) from here.   Draupadi was unable to cross the saraswati river. Then Bheema pulled a massive rock boulder from the earth and kept it over the river so that she could easily cross the river.
As a result, a beautiful pond is formed and also a natural rock bridge is formed across the Saraswati river making a way to Satopanth lake.

On the way to Bheem Pul,One can see a Naga sadhu sitting inside a cave and performing Puja to Goddess Durga.
