'Kuppi Bheema' temple is situated in Kasaba village near Lingasugur in Karnataka.

Kuppi Bheema is a black colour Hanuman Idol which is about Five foot tall. It is believed that this idol was originally installed by JANAMEJAYA, son of PARIKSHITH Raja. Later this idol was worshipped by SRI VYASARAJARU, a pontiff during the sixteenth century. This adds to the greatness of the idol. One can view Hanuman and Bheema in the idol as seen in the picture.

A lot of people in nearby villages visit this temple to fulfil their wishes. There is a beautiful temple built aroundthis idol, which is just half a kilometre away from Lingasugur bus stand. This HANUMAN temple is worth visiting for people aspiring salvation.
