Chinthaneesa Hanuman:
In almost all the villages and towns, therewill be atleast one Hanuman temple. But in Bagalkote, Karnataka state it is interesting to note that in each corner of the town you will come across one Hanuman temple. There is one Hanuman temple called as 'Chinthaneesa Hanuma' which looks courageous and is situated in 'Mirji' street of the centrally located Bazaar street of Bagalkote. There is a staunch belief that by worshipping this Lord Chinthaneesa Hanuman devotees will be protected from all the evil effects, worries (Chintha) and difficulties. Hence the deity is also called as 'Chinthappa' locally. Even though the statue is small it looks standing magnificently and thinking of devotees. It is said that some centuries ago, the Arya Vysya Samaj members have constructed this 'Chinthaneesa Mandir' inside the Nagareswara temple.
The members of the 'Bhajana mandali' do bhajans daily. The members of the 'Ashtotthara mandali' chant Vayu Sthuti' and 'Vishnu Sahasranama' daily.
Here, irrespective of religion, cast and creed people will have darshan of the Lord Hanuman daily and go to their work.
When you happened to come to Bagalkote of Karnataka state you can have darshan and blessings of Lord Chinthaneesa Hanuman.
