'Shree Budaranal Anjaneya swamy' temple is located towards west of Bharamasagar in Chitradurga Taluk in Karnataka. It is nearly 400 year old, installed by Shri Guru Vyasarajaru.
We can reach this temple by bus from Davanagere, which is at a distance of 30 km from here. 'Budaranaal' means people used to live in this place. People say that once there was a village called 'Budaranaal'.
As the temple is very old people of that village have contructed a new temple building and thought of transferring the idol there. They did not get permission from the Lord Hanuman to shift the original idol to this newly contructed temple building. So it remained the same for a long period.
As they attained permission from the Lord recently, the idol is shifted to the newly constructed temple bulding performing religous activities.
Whenever devotees pray Lord Anjaneya performing puja to fulfill their desires, they will be blessed with a flower and their wishes come true.
