There is a place called 'Yatnatti' in Hunagunda taluk in Bagalkot district, Karnataka. There is a very famous HANUMAN temple here. There are a lot of visitors who visit this temple for their desires to be fulfilled. Pooja and sevas are performed here everyday with great devotion and purity.

It is believed that during Tretayuga after the end of war with demon Raavan, Lord SHRI RAM, SITA, LAKSHMANA and HANUMAN were returning to Ayodhya. On their way back , they sat on a rock for a while which was next to a river called 'MALAPAHARI'. An idol of HANUMAN started appearing on that rock around 4th century A.D. This idol was installed under a Neem tree and as time passed by, people started visiting this temple. After a few centuries, A family from North Karnataka called 'Kulkarni'constructed a proper temple at that place and took care of the temple for several centuries.

As time passed by, several people in that village started following some impure practices while worshipping the deity. As a result of this,  lots of poisonus reptiles strated flooding the village 'Ethnatti' and people started deserting the village until the whole village was ruined.

A couple of centuries later, people again started inhabiting the village. The village was reconstructed along with the Hanuman temple. Lord HANUMAN is worshipped here with great devotion and sanctity.

Lord HANUMAN here bestows good luck and prosperity for devotees and visitors.
