As time passed by, this place started getting popular among people in and around the village. People wanted to explore the reason behind this miracle. They started digging the mound and to their surprise. They found this idol of Hanuman inside the mound. People were overwhelmingly happy and decided to install the idol in the same place where the mound was dug and a temple was constructed around it.
The name of this village is Varagodadinne which is named after the mound which in kannada means the 'Mound of Prayers'.
The Hanuman temple here is very popular today and Lord Hanuman is blessing people with all their wishes.
